Andy Alexander: Brand Management/Principal
Andy was basically born into branding. One side of his family was in corporate marketing and public relations; the other was deep in the automotive business. As a fresh new grad from Texas A&M, Andy threw in with the marketing side – and was, as you probably saw coming, quickly assigned to a major car brand.
Andy spent his first eight work years in media at Foote, Cone & Belding, where he helped shape launch strategies for Mazda. When we recruited him in 2004, Andy had switched departments to oversee Mazda’s national retail strategy for Doner, as part of the acclaimed “Zoom Zoom” (you whisper-read that, didn’t you?) campaign.
Andy’s unique combination of media and brand management expertise helped him find his way onto nonautomotive accounts at TRG, from Giant Eagle grocery stores to Auntie Anne’s pretzels. He now works tirelessly on behalf of TXU Energy, Cardinal Health, First Choice Emergency Room, and Grady Memorial Hospital.
