Andy Coulston: Creative Group Head/Art Director

Andy has a degree in cognitive science – an interdisciplinary study of the human mind that incorporates philosophy, linguistics, psychology, and neurobiology. He also has a degree in art direction from The Creative Circus, one of the nation’s preeminent portfolio schools. He also follows sumo wrestling. Andy is well-rounded.

Before joining TRG, Andy spent four years in Japan teaching English, learning Japanese, and authoring and illustrating a popular comic strip. (Did we mention he’s well-rounded?) Since his arrival in 2004, he has worked on brands like Fiat, GameStop, Wawa convenience stores, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, and The Home Depot. Being well-rounded and all.

When not crafting ads, Andy enjoys camping, barbecuing, logic puzzles, boundary-pushing art, and probably a bunch of other things that make you wonder if he’s for real. He is blissfully married with two very happy children.
