Bill Milkereit: Creative Group Head/Writer

When he was growing up in Chicago and later in Charleston, South Carolina, there was a rule in Bill’s house: You could watch only one TV show per day. And it was strictly enforced. Because Bill’s ever vigilant parents wanted him to make something of his life.

The rule completely backfired. Bill has made television commercials his life’s work. He has to watch TV every day. Sometimes multiple TVs. And he thanks his parents daily.

Bill graduated from the University of Kentucky and, later, the renowned Portfolio Center. He spent the first ten years of his tenure at TRG thinking like a cow for Chick-fil-A and the legendary “Eat Mor Chikin” campaign. Now, Bill handles creative responsibilities for TGI Fridays, The Home Depot, and the Atlanta Falcons.

Coincidentally, Bill and wife Christy let their two boys watch TV all the time. But they prefer to read or play outside.
