Conor MacDowell: Media Strategy, Search Group Director
In describing the perfect media strategist, you really can’t do better than “classical-guitar-playing pilot.” Think about it: On the one hand, an artist trained to tease beautiful patterns and clean, straight lines out of a complex instrument. And on the other hand, a leader trained to stay calm under pressure, attentive to all details, and focused on the best path ahead. It’s a pretty good metaphor – though we hope, when actually flying, that Conor keeps both hand on the yoke and not the guitar.
A 2006 graduate of Kent State University, Conor started his media career in New York City, doing paid search and affiliate marketing for companies such as Apple, Walmart, Office Depot, and Guthy-Renker.
A 2016 move to Dallas brought Conor to our doors, where we immediately put his talents to work on behalf of clients including Firehouse Subs, Biltmore, MD Anderson, UCHealth, Choctaw Casino & Resort, Circle K, Heartis, and MetroNet.
When not working or piloting or playing guitar, Conor enjoys gaming, hiking, and traveling. There are probably some good metaphors in there as well – but Conor sounds awesome enough already.
