Dale Hruby: Brand Management/Principal
Whenever clients use military jargon to describe their marketing strategies, Dale gets downright giddy. After all, it’s a language he’s fluent in. As a West Point grad, Dale spent five years touring Europe in an M1 tank. Commanding troops sparked an interest in behavior and motivation, which led him to advertising.
At Leo Burnett, Dale traded his captain’s bars for Kraft General Foods, Black & Decker, and Oldsmobile. His work at Burnett brought him to our attention. Since his arrival in 1995, Dale has led efforts on behalf of Taco Bell, Motel 6, Giant Eagle, Auntie Anne’s, Hyundai, H-E-B, Central Market, and AAA. He even spent a few years running our brand management training program (though his idea for a grueling “ad boot camp” may have ruffled some feathers).
Dale and wife Kristan enjoy running and skiing, and whenever they get the chance, they escape to Colorado to visit their two sons at the Air Force Academy.
