Julia Melle: Creative Group Head/Writer

Julia has the world’s largest hat collection. You want to talk creative leadership? She has a hat for that. Big global ideas, digital, or loyalty marketing? Yep, hat, hat, hat. Art, writing, sports, and ’80s heavy metal? More hats.

Truth is, she never wanted to be good at just one thing, so Julia has made it her goal to collect as many hats as possible over her 28 years in the business. Along with her experience came the awards – Cannes Lions, ADDYs, and Effies. She’s served as an executive creative director within Publicis Groupe, managing accounts including Bridgestone North America and Nestlé Pure Life Water. And as a creative director at Leo Burnett, she helped break all-time share records for P&G’s Always and Kellogg’s Special K brands.

At home, Julia pulls out her mom hat (her very favorite) to raise three amazing boys – Peter, Michael, and Boden – alongside her husband, Chris.
