Todd McArtor: Creative Group Head/Art Director

Todd’s 15 minutes of fame came unusually early. At age 3, he created a crayon drawing of his tricycle. A 3-year-old doing a crayon drawing is all well and good, but Todd drew his tricycle looking straight down at it from overhead. This garnered a considerable amount of attention from his family. You guessed it – about 15 minutes’ worth. But while the fame was short-lived, the love of drawing things and an eye for unusual perspectives have lived on the rest of his life.

Upon graduating from college, he began a career as an illustrator, which eventually led Todd into graphic design and advertising art direction.

Since he joined The Richards Group in 2000, Todd’s unique perspective has changed the way clients like The Salvation Army, Pier 1 Imports, and The Home Depot view themselves. But don’t ask him about his award-winning work – Todd loves drawing anything and everything except attention to himself.
