Trent Walters: Brand Management/Principal

Trent didn’t grow up in Texas but, as the saying goes, he got here as fast as he could (we use that saying a lot here). At the University of North Texas, he was named one of the American Advertising Federation’s Top 25 Most Promising Minority Students, which led to his job at The Richards Group immediately after graduation.

Trent has helped grow brands including Nokia, STARZ Encore Media Group, AT&T Broadband, EyeMasters, PGA TOUR Superstore, Gander Mountain, The Lodge & Spa at Three Forks Ranch, Scotts lawn care products, and Motel 6.

Trent enjoys educating students about advertising and is particularly passionate about introducing minority students to the profession. A self-proclaimed fitness nerd, he’s generally the first person in the agency gym every morning – if he’s in town. He’s an active member of his church and even sings on the worship team. He and wife Sandra have two children, Brendan and Kensely.
