Clint Carter: Creative Group Head/Writer

Clint lays claim to being the only real, live cowboy at TRG. Specifically, a real, live bull rider. Clint makes us proud to be from Texas. Even though he’s from California. But since nobody who meets him believes that little fact, we tend to ignore it.

Clint grew up playing sports and working at his family’s Burger King, where he learned to make a mean Whopper. By high school, he was handling larger portions of beef – the live, ornery kind.

After graduating from Southwest Texas State University, he traded bulls for ads and joined GSD&M, where he worked on the PGA Tour, Tostitos, Charles Schwab, Southwest Airlines, and Dial soap. Since joining TRG in 2005, he’s put cows in skyscrapers for Chick-fil-A and the Fruit Guys in a lowrider for Fruit of the Loom.

His work has been recognized by Cannes, The One Show, Archive, Creativity, and the Obies. He’s married with three kids, none of whom are allowed to rodeo.
