David Hall: Brand Management/Principal

In the late 1970s, if you caught NCAA swimming on ABC’s Wide World of Sports, David was once the guy still swimming on the far left side of your screen as Jesse Vassallo finished in first place. Jesse would go on to win gold medals, join the U.S. swim team, and appear in Sports Illustrated. David dove into advertising.

His first stop was The Bloom Agency in Dallas, and his second was Temerlin McClain. He spent five of his 11 years there working on American Airlines, and this experience brought him to us in 1993. His charge? Help turn around the Continental Airlines brand – in the process earning two Effie Awards for advertising effectiveness. (“It’s like a swimming medal, but for ads!” he likes to say.)

David now oversees work on Suddenlink, Southern Methodist University, FRAM, Prestone, Permatex, and AMC’s Mad Men.
